Patient safety remains a top priority of the Neurology Institute of San Antonio. We are carefully monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) in association with our local and state health departments as well as the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC). We are making every effort possible to protect our patients, therefore, we ask that you understand the symptoms of COVID-19 and how to prevent the spread of the virus.
The CDC has reported the following symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure:
- Fever
- Cough
- Shortness of Breath
The best way to protect yourself from the virus is to wash your hands often and avoid close contact with people that are sick. Many of our patients are immunocompromised. For those patients please be diligent in protecting yourself as recommended and avoid large crowds.
As your health is very important to us, we ask that anyone that is sick with a fever, cough, or sore throat or anyone that has traveled out of the country recently or been exposed to anyone that has traveled out of the country recently, please call our office to reschedule your appointment.
